The Kimo's

In light of Tim Burton's newly released Alice in Wonderland and The Oscar's I decided to host my own award ceremony for Tim Burton's films. I'm calling the ceremony The Kimo Awards (kimo happens to be the last four letters of my most popular nickname).

I cannot post my nominees just yet, for I have yet to see Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. However, I plan on watching it tomorrow and then I will shortly post my nominees for Best Performance in a TB Film in a Leading Role, Best Performance in a TB Film in a Supporting Role, Best Score in a TB Film, Best Art Direction of a TB Film, Best Sound in a TB Film, Best Editing, Best Costumes, and Best Special Effects.

To keep things simple I'm only going to nominate five for each section, then I will view all and post my results.

Because The Nightmare Before Christmas is directed by Henry Selick and not Tim Burton, it will, sadly, not be included.

Other than that, all of the 14 films Burton has directed will be included, those films are:

Because of my busy schedule, 14 full-length movies is quite an undertaking. Therefore, the actual posting of the winners may be a while. But, it makes a lovely excuse to go through my Tim Burton collection!
